Amita Mridha, the only child of Chinu and Dr. Debasish Mridha , arrived in this world on March 30, 2004 with fortitude and an exceptional yearning to survive and succeed. Born at 28 weeks premature, the beginning of her life was spent in the NICU unit, and from that day forward she has worked at archiving to become her absolute finest person. She studied grade school at private schools including SASA then transferred to Heritage for her high school years. She is multi-talented and accomplished in various fields. Amita is a brilliant and versatile vocalist singing in multiple, diverse languages, including English, Bengali, Hindi and Russian. She also loves dance and musical instruments and excels in Indian Odyssey Dance. The bond and resemblance between mother and daughter are stunning as Amita and her mother often showcase their talents as they perform together.
Her creative talents also include drawing for which she has received numerous awards. Amita is a thoughtful, kind, loving soul dedicated to world peace and goodwill to all. Her future plans include studying at Michigan state university, following in her father’s footsteps, and majoring in neuroscience with a minor degree in English literature specializing in creative writing.
